Kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living rooms all wear down at different rates — here's a realistic deep-cleaning frequency for each.

Why one blanket answer doesn't work

"Deep clean the whole house every 3 months" is the advice you'll see most often, and it's a reasonable default — but different rooms actually accumulate buildup at very different rates depending on use, moisture, and traffic.

Kitchen: every 4-6 weeks

Grease aerosolizes every time you cook, settling on cabinet fronts, range hoods, and the tops of upper cabinets long before it's visible. If you cook most nights, a 4-week deep-clean interval on the kitchen keeps grease from baking on and getting harder to remove.

Bathrooms: every 4-8 weeks

Grout and shower buildup respond directly to humidity and usage. A single-person bathroom can stretch to 8 weeks between deep cleans; a family bathroom with kids showers more often and benefits from the shorter end of that range.

Bedrooms and living areas: every 3-4 months

These rooms accumulate dust rather than grease or moisture, so baseboards, light fixtures, and behind-furniture areas can go longer between deep passes — standard cleanings in between keep the visible surfaces in check.

The easier alternative: recurring service

Most clients who ask us this question end up switching to a recurring plan instead of tracking individual room schedules — a biweekly or monthly visit naturally keeps buildup from reaching deep-clean territory in the first place.
