Why move-out cleaning is different from a regular clean
A move-out cleaning has to satisfy someone else's checklist — your property manager's or landlord's — not just your own standard. That means cabinet interiors, appliance interiors, and areas most people never touch during a normal week all need attention.
Kitchen
Inside and outside of the refrigerator, including gaskets and drawers. Interior of the oven, stovetop, and range hood filter. Inside every cabinet and drawer, wiped clean of crumbs and residue. Countertops, backsplash, and sink degreased and sanitized.
Bathrooms
Grout scrubbed, not just surface-wiped. Inside medicine cabinets and vanity drawers. Mirrors and glass streak-free. Toilet, tub, and shower fully sanitized, including fixtures and caulking.
Bedrooms and living areas
Inside closets, including shelving and rods. Baseboards and window sills wiped down. Blinds dusted slat by slat. Floors vacuumed and mopped wall-to-wall, including under any furniture left behind.
