This is the most common first-time question we get — no, you don't need to tidy the whole house before your team arrives. A general pickup of loose items (toys, clothes, dishes) helps the crew reach every surface efficiently, but deep cleaning is exactly what you're paying us for.
What actually helps
Clear countertops of loose items so surfaces can be fully wiped. Let us know about any fragile items, pets, or rooms to skip. Provide access instructions — door code, lockbox, or where a spare key is.
First-visit expectations
First cleanings sometimes run longer than recurring visits since the team is learning your home's layout and starting from whatever condition it's currently in. Subsequent visits on a recurring plan typically move faster.
